Rainy Day

I spent some time today running errands and when I came home, I couldn't decide what to do... I have a long list of things to do but didn't feel like doing any of them... Where is that rainy day list when you can actually use it?

Farmers Market Bounty

Everything on the lunch table is from the market! I just love this time of year :)

Fresh made rosemary focaccia, fresh mozzarella and red pepper goat cheese, cukes, sweet, sweet cherry tomatoes, green peppers, and a bowl of blackberries!!! Yummmmm!!!

Let's Try This Again

I'm starting over with the post a day challenge. Today, I'm trying to post with the blogger app on the iPad - it's an iPhone app so it's pretty clumsy.

Short but sweet because it's time to go and cook dinner...

Already missed a day :(

But, I'll continue on anyway :)

Day 2 of Friendship VBS tonight -- I hope the temperature drops a bit by 6:00!

Looking forward to seeing the differences and similarities between FEPC and Friendship VBS.  But, also looking forward to the week after Friendship VBS when we don't have so much to do :)

The last day of VBS at Fellowship... One day off and then the fun starts again at Friendship!!! Lesson of the week for me: The story of the disciples in the boat during a raging storm...Jesus is sleeping through it as they are bailing water out of the boat frantically. Someone wakes Jesus up, expecting Him to grab a bucket and help them do what they are already doing. But, that's not what He does at all - instead, He calms the storm. How often do we pray for help and then expect it come exactly as we would do it ourselves? Hmmmmmmmm......

I always seem to be getting my best sleep just as its time to get up! Anyone else experience that?
